Child Labor before and after covid-19

 

The subject line chosen for this article is shameful, but the reality which we can’t escape off has to be mentioned.

Nothing has changed in child labor then and now; small kids are still working to feed themselves and their families. But why child labor?

A child doesn’t want to do labor, but now the society is such that they are forced to go for it, children come from rural areas to urban areas not for a better life but to earn money for their need.

From rural to urban who are those who show them the path is still a question unanswered because it’s a cheap labor and those children are forcedness to do so.

Some children don’t have their dad or mom or both, in their life and have this last chance to survive.

Even they want to read, write, learn and to grow as intellectuals in life, but their dreams are in the queue and the queue is very long.

Those small children work in PG, lodge, flats, restaurants, hotels many more commercial areas.

We still fight for religion, but what about Srilal, Saleem, Mathew, Farah, Anushka, Chintu, Shezadi etc. Why they do child labor? When they will go to school?

What government is doing, whether left or right wing, it’s not about religion its  much more tense, it’s about humanity, which is LOST today.
