Delicious mouth watering Tamarind Curry / Khatta to service with amazing Biryani or Bread or Plain Rice.



Ingredients


  • Tamarind 70 grams
  • Hot Water half litre
  • Green chilies 4 pieces
  • 1 Potato (Aloo)
  • 2 Onion finely chopped
  • Salt as per requirement
  • Filter


Procedure to Prepare Tamrind Khatta


Method 1

Soak Tamarind in to the hot water and leave it for 30 minutes time to cool down

Method 2


Take Knife and fix the sharp end of Knife on to Potato and bring the potato in to direct flame to fry dark and wait until the potato becomes fully dark leave it for cooling

Method 3 


Blend the mixture of Tamarind and Water in to Juice Jar add chilies to it and grind until we get the tamarind juice.

Method 4


Filter out the above tamarind juice essence to remove tamarind and chilies remains

Method 5 


Remove the outer dark layer peeling of potato with hand and mash the potato in to the above tamarid juice. Also add the finely chopped onion in to the juice and mix it well.

Method 6

Finally the Tamarind Khatta is ready to serve, it can be used as curry for plain cooked rice, eating bread or as a chutney to Biriyani or to make pani puri. Please share use your taste full experience
